About This Project

In the Women Portraits series, Trudie Wijnen offers more than just photographs — she creates worlds. Each portrait captures a woman in a unique, carefully crafted setting, where surroundings, styling and atmosphere combine as a reflection of her inner self.

Trudie doesn’t merely style the subject: she builds the entire décor. The backgrounds, props and details are her own creation — chosen, designed and assembled to harmonize with the personality, mood and essence of the woman she photographs.
